Montego Bay-born racer Tommi Gore is preparing to make history as he steps into the IMSA Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship, becoming the first Jamaican driver to compete in the prestigious one-make GT racing series.

The 21-year-old third-generation racer began his journey at just five years old at Kingston’s Palisadoes Go-Kart Track and has since climbed through the ranks, including competing in Europe’s highly competitive GT4 Germany Championship, where he secured three podium finishes during the 2025 season.

Proud to represent Jamaica on the international stage, Gorre says flying the island’s flag remains a major motivation in his journey. “I truly believe in the saying ‘we likkle but we tallawah.’ For such a small island in the Caribbean we seem to make the biggest impact wherever we go,” he said.

Looking ahead, his focus remains clear: “Right now the focus is the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship this year, and I will be doing everything I can to represent our country at the highest level.”
