As announced by the organizers on social media, the first night of Sumfest will feature performances by dancehall icons Aidonia and Jada Kingdom, promising an electrifying start to this year's event.
In addition to these stellar acts, the rising dancehall sensation Nigy Boy, propelled by the success of his debut track 'Continent', will make his debut appearance at the event, further heightening anticipation for the 31st edition of the Caribbean's foremost gathering.
Following a mystery post on Sumfest's Instagram account teasing a surprise addition to the already star-studded lineup, speculation is rife with the names of Popcaan, Squash, and even the legendary rapper Jay-Z swirling in anticipation of who the mystery guest might be.
Recalling the memorable 30th edition, which featured stellar performances by Masicka, Tommy Lee Sparta, and Teejay, alongside a touching tribute to reggae legend Freddie McGregor, with his sons Di Genius and Chino, and the triumphant return of Lady Saw, now performing as Marion Hall, to the Sumfest stage, the upcoming event promises to uphold its legacy of excellence and musical diversity.
