Dancehall luminary Aidonia, who wrapped up last year with his 'Occupied Mind' project, is gearing up for a series of birthday festivities.

Amidst dropping viral hits like 'Bottles' on the Street Vybz riddim remake by Notnice and his latest single 'Uh Uh' featured on the 'Chakka' compilation, the 42-year-old artist is set to celebrate his 43rd birthday with two main events. One bash will unfold at Turtle River Park, Ocho Rios on March 30, boasting a stellar lineup of emerging dancehall talents such as Valiant, Skeng, Chronic Law, IWaata, Pablo YG, Najeeriii, Rajahwild, and more.

Last year, Aidonia marked his birthday in grand style at St. Ann's, featuring star-studded performances by Teejay, Govana, Shaneil Muir, 450, Vanessa Bling, and others.

The '1V' maestro also plans to treat his US fans to a weekend extravaganza from April 26th to 28th across Philadelphia, Connecticut, and New York. He'll be making an appearance at Amzura on the 28th alongside Govana and dancehall sensation Jada Kingdom. The 'Frsh Drop' deejay is set to make his comeback to the Sumfest stage this year, joining Jada Kingdom who is also scheduled to perform.

Despite enduring the tragic loss of his son King Khalif to a longtime illness at the beginning of last year, Aidonia and his wife Kimberly Megan recently welcomed another son, marking the end of a roller coaster year for the veteran deejay.
