Alkaline, brings his New Rules Festival to Jamaican once again

Dancehall star Alkaline has announced that his New Rules Festival will return to Jamaica for the first time since 2022, set to take place at Trelawny Stadium on July 5.

The confirmation, following recent speculation, came from Alkaline’s team on Friday via social media accounts, including his manager and sister Kerena Beckford and the official New Rules pages. This will mark the festival’s first staging in Trelawny, following previous editions held in Kingston.

The announcement follows two New Rules events already scheduled for this year—London’s OVO Wembley Arena on April 17, featuring guests such as Armanii and RajahWild, and Toronto’s Rebel Nightclub on June 21.

First launched in 2017, New Rules Festival debuted with over 30,000 fans in attendance. Since then, it has expanded with successful editions in New York, Florida, and Jamaica.
