Following the release with Kaka Highflames, dancehall icon Beenie Man joins producer Aicon for a new track that blends Amapiano and dancehall

Music producer Aicon teams up with legendary dancehall artist Beenie Man for the upcoming Amapiano single "Swivel," slated to release on November 1st.
Following his release of "Yeahhh" featuring rising dancehall artiste Kaka Highflames, Beenie Man is the latest artist to join Aicon in blending the fresh, global sound of Amapiano with dancehall vibes. "Beenie heard the beat and loved it right away. He said, 'Yo, mi love it,'” Aicon shared. "The man gave me a hit single."
Aicon, born Christoher Levy, reflected on his international aspirations, "Dancehall is my thing. I've been doing it for over 20 years, but I produce music that aims for the global market, and that’s why I’m diving into Amapiano with a twist."
Beenie Man, recently honored with the Order of Distinction on National Heroes Day, is set to help Aicon reach a wider audience. "Beenie is a legend, the king of dancehall, no question. The honor is well-deserved—he’s been a global ambassador for dancehall and Jamaica for years."
Levy has plans to involve more artists in this project, recognizing Amapiano's worldwide appeal. Despite this international push, he remains rooted in dancehall and recently performed with longtime friend and dancehall star Aidonia in NYC.
