Dancehall star Skillibeng and reggae sensation YG Marley lit up the stage at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday, held at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.

Skillibeng joined South African star Tyla and American rapper Gunna for a high-energy performance of their hit collab "Jump." Tyla, the South African sensation, won two awards for Best International Act and Best New Artist.

This was Skillibeng's second performance at the BET Awards, following his participation in last year's tribute to Busta Rhymes, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 ceremony.

Dancehall icon Bounty Killa shared praise for Skillibeng's on his Instagram account. "Dis is what they should all be focusing on, lifting up the genre and culture instead of the petty feud and fuckery," stated the General. He added, "Any business, industry, group, crew, or family not united always falls apart. Wise up, folks."

Rising reggae sensation YG Marley took the stage during his mother Lauryn Hill’s set, delivering powerful performances of his new song "Survival" and the viral hit "Praise Jah in the Moonlight."
