With several exciting projects emerging recently, the prestigious Billboard magazine showcases its top picks for this month's standout singles from the Caribbean, with a special focus on Jamaica, in their monthly Fresh Reggae/Dancehall Picks.

Govana's impressive sophomore album, "Legacy," is gaining attention, particularly for the standout single "Save by a Psalm." This tear-jerking collaboration with dancehall star Popcaan is highlighted as one of the album's most notable tracks.

The reigning Queen of Dancehall, Spice, is featured with her soon-to-be-released album "Mirror 25." The single "Round Round," a collaboration with Busta Rhymes, stands out. Billboard wrote, "The drum-heavy beat helps emphasize the percussiveness of both of their voices, but it’s their nimble flow switches that truly reveal the depths of their artistic chemistry."

Rising dancehall star Bayka, who recently released his debut mixtape "Mob Ties," is also receiving praise for the energetic jam "1086." This exceptional track, featuring fellow artist Najeeriii, blends the character of trap dancehall with salsa influences.

Another artist gaining momentum is rising reggae talent Jah Lil, mentioned for his debut album "Can A Man Cry," described as a 'true gem of an album.' The track "Weak Men," where Jah Lil argues that true weakness is the inability to express emotions and resist temptation, features funky horns, steady guitars, and earthy percussion, creating a rich soundscape for his voice.

Other notable singles include the collaboration "Birds & Bees" by Pablo YG and Lanae, and Marion Hall, formerly Lady Saw, with her track "Step."
