Rising artiste, Blvk H3ro, the first reggae artiste to ever receive a Grammy nomination in the prestigious Best Global Music Performance category, is set to release his debut 15-track album titled 'On a Mission' on Friday, August, 18 via Delicious Vinyl Island label an imprint of the iconic Delicious Vinyl.
The artiste showcases his artistic mastery while the tracklist includes songs that have already been released such as the 'Annabella' featuring Dre Island and also the remix version with British artiste, Kojo Funds, 'Rich And Blessed' with Teejay and'It Nuh Easy'.
The Portmore-born singer also presents other collaborations such as in 'Crazy World' with dancehall superstar Skillbeng (after their successful 'Young Boss' single ft. Wayne J), 'Jane' with reggae veteran, Anthony B and 'Killa Killa' featuring LaaLee, Demarco and Zenya.
"Well the album is really about a yute, the journey, the process of going through, while on a mission to find his destiny and his purpose yuh nuh", he explained. "Songs that have come out of the experience of traveling, creating art, meeting people having love, losing love, losing friends. It’s also the progression of the sonics of the music, yuh nuh, it’s like I’m on a mission in that as well to kinda present a modern middle ground where everybody can feel comfortable with it. The Album is like the theme music to everyone on a mission right now", he further added.

BlVk H3ro, who is currently in the US for a long time and performs at several festivals in America, is excited about the release of his debut project: "To be honest, I’m so excited now I’m nervous. It's just a wave of emotions because this thing was just in yuh head. we keep saying it, album and now I’m literally just days ahead of it coming out, it just feel surreal", he shared fervidly.
"We get to a point where I was able to collaborate with almost everyone I wanted to. Even right now just seeing everybody react to it and the posting and the sharing of the artwork. I feel like I have the support of the industry and the people and the strength of the collaborators. I feel really good about this project at this time. I want it to move the needle. Me cyan wait to get everybody reactions”, he concluded while mentioning the single ‘It Nuh Easy’ as one of his favourites. "If you’ve never heard that track, go listen to it now. I promise you’re going to love it. If for some reason you don’t, link me so we can argue", assertively said.
