British-Jamaican Dancehall Artiste Big Zeeks Pays Homage to Buju Banton with "Toppa Top"

After the launch of his debut album, Big Zeeks released a catchy single featuring Frisco, drawing inspiration from Dancehall legend Buju Banton

Following the release of his album "The Fresh Prince of Harlesden," British-Jamaican Dancehall artiste, Big Zeeks, wasted no time in dropping another single titled "Toppa Top,” featuring Frisco. This slick tune, oozing with vibes and positivity, hit the airwaves on April 25th.


"Toppa Top" resonates with the theme of reaching the peak, with production credits to Ironryanbeats, known for crafting beats for notable artists like Flowdan and Maxi Priest. In this track, Big Zeeks and Frisco effortlessly trade bars over a cold, steppin’ beat. Accompanying the song is a vibrant music video.



"Toppa Top," featuring Frisco from Boy Better Know, has garnered significant radio attention, premiering on DJ Target's show as the track of the day on 1Xtra. Additionally, Big Zeeks and Frisco showcased their talent with a freestyle on Rampage over the weekend.


Sharing his inspiration, Big Zeeks explained, “I collaborated with Frisco on 'Toppa Top' to showcase my versatility. It's about striving for excellence in everything I do – from music to performance, style, and beyond. This song pays homage to Buju Banton’s 'Top A Top,' while carving out my own lane in the UK Dancehall scene."



His highly anticipated debut album, "The Fresh Prince of Harlesden," hitting the shelves on May 10th, 2024. This 13-track album is a powerhouse of hits, featuring guest appearances and standout tracks like ‘Clean’ with Ding Dong, and ‘Guh Fi Dem’ featuring Chronic Law. Notable among them is ‘Up Top’ featuring British rapper, M1llionz.


With production from renowned producers like Fanatix and Angel, "The Fresh Prince of Harlesden" solidifies Big Zeeks’ status as a force to be reckoned with in the danceall music industry in UK.


Both the single "Toppa Top" and the album "The Fresh Prince Of Harlesden" are released under Parlay Records. Big Zeeks will perform his album for the first time at the album launch show on Thursday 16th May at Blues Kitchen, Brixton at 7pm-11pm with tickets on sale now here.
