Reggae Girl star Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw scores stoppage-time winner as Manchester City seals 2-1 comeback victory over Liverpool at Anfield.
Liverpool struck first with Olivia Smith’s stunning long-range effort, but Shaw quickly restored parity with a well-placed right-footed shot from the center of the box. In the 92nd minute, Shaw clinched the win when Lauren Hemp delivered a precise cross from the wing, allowing the striker to head the ball into the bottom left corner, completing City’s dramatic comeback.
Reflecting on her late strike, Shaw emphasized the significance of the result in the title race. "Coming into this game, we knew it was going to be tough," Shaw told Sky Sports. "Sometimes you have to win ugly."
The victory capped off a stellar week for Manchester City, who also shocked European champions Barcelona in the Women's Champions League on Wednesday.
