Busta Rhymes drops 11th Album with a stellar lineup, showcasing Jamaican Sensation Shenseea in the triumphant 'Open Wide' collaboration with Chris Brown
Shenseea, Busta Rhymes, Part of a Star-Studded Lineup
Busta Rhymes, the renowned American rapper, made a significant impact on the music industry with the unveiling of his eleventh studio album, 'Blockbusta.'
Teaming up with powerhouse producers Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, and Pharrell as executive producers, the Brooklyn-based artist takes center stage in this star-studded project. The album features previously released tracks such as "Beach Ball" with BIA, "Luxury Life" featuring the emerging female rapper Coi Leray, and "OK," a collaboration with Young Thug produced by Cool & Dre.
Shenseea contributes her verse on the single 'Open Wide,' joining forces with R&B sensation Chris Brown as they both join forces with the veteran rapper.
Comprising 18 tracks, the album includes three solo records from Busta, namely "The Statement," "Hold Up," and "Slide," and is enriched with numerous collaborations. Quavo makes an appearance on "Remind 'em," the afrobeat superstar, Burna Boy lends his talent to "Roboshotta," and the roster of features extends to Swizz Beatz, Kodak Black, Blxst, Yung Bleu, Giggs, Morray, DaBaby, T-Pain, and many others.
'Blockbusta' marks Busta Rhymes' first album since 2020's 'Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God.' In the previous year, he dropped 'The Fuse Is Lit,' a 5-track EP featuring collaborations with Swizz Beatz, Conway The Machine, Big Daddy Kane, Skillibeng, and Capella Grey.
Recently, he teamed up with dancehall legend Sean Paul and Skillibeng, forming a dynamic trio for the scorching summer remix, "Summer Hot."
