Soca Bunx Riddim Sets Its Sights on the Carnival Season

Following the immense success of 'Big Bunx,' a production by Zimi Records and Now Or Never, the labels are elevating the project for the upcoming carnival season with an adapted release known as 'Soca Bunx Riddim.' This version incorporates a fusion of dancehall and soca, embodying a distinct Jamaican-Trinidadian blend.

The original project, featuring a beat crafted by composer/producer Franc White of Zimi Records, gained momentum with support from top soca producers like Travis World, DJ Private Ryan, and Shantonio, adding their unique twists to it.

Among the highlights of this new venture is the 'Wild Out Remix,' a collaboration between RajahWild and Trinidadian Voice the Artiste. Additionally, fast-rising dancehall star Skeng presents 'Sha La La Remix' alongside emerging soca talent Nessa Preppy. Trinidadian soca artist Shal Marshall is also part of the lineup, with more artists slated to join this trans-Caribbean project set to ignite the carnival season.

'Big Bunx Riddim' made waves in Jamaica, producing multiple hit singles that garnered millions of streams and views on YouTube. Notable entries include Rajawild's 'Wild Out,' boasting 14 million views, and Najeeriii's 'Paddle Boat,' amassing 11 million YouTube views, among others.
