The popular 'Chakka riddim', masterminded by burgeoning producer DJ Mac in collaboration with Crash Dummy, continues to assert its dominance as a leading force in the contemporary dancehall landscape. It consistently attracts top-tier artists to uphold its momentum and influence.
Featuring an extensive tracklist of 19 dynamic songs, the Chakka riddim maintains its vibrant momentum, gaining traction across various social networks. Renowned artists like the fast-rising dancehall star Skeng, with his hit track '24', and Tommy Lee Sparta, whose recent release 'Heh Heh' quickly ascended to the 5th position on Jamaica's YouTube trending chart, contribute to its captivating charm.
The next addition comes from dancehall luminary Aidonia, who is set to release the official video for his single 'Uh Uh', as hinted on various social media platforms.
With Aidonia onboard, DJ Mac assembles an outstanding roster, featuring established artists like Chronic Law with his hit 'Salt Gyal', Valiant with 'Buddum', Jahshii with 'Bunx', Jafrass, Govana with 'Chump Change', and the seasoned veteran D'Angel, alongside emerging talents such as Kaka Highflames, Djaai, Roze Don, and Cashan. And the excitement doesn't stop there; there are also speculations about Shenseea potentially joining the project.
The project launched in late 2023 with the theme single 'Chakka' by emerging dancehall sensation Jquan, which amassed a staggering 5.6 million views on YouTube and over 5 million streams on TikTok.
