Chris Brown is set to perform in Jamaica in August, for the first time in over a decade

Grammy-winning King of R&B, Chris Brown is set to perform in Jamaica on August 27, 2023, as a part of the BZR Weekend event including a star-studded lineup.


The R&B superstar just finished his 'Under The Influence' tour, and will return to Jamaica after already visiting the island several times in the past, and made his official debut performance at the Reggae Semfest in 2010. This will be Chris Brown’s first time performing in Jamaica in over a decade, which by itself will make this weekend a highly-anticipated experience. In addition to pop phenom Sean Kingston, dancing king Ding Dong, and dancehall superstar Teejay among other artists from the U.S. and Caribbean.


BZR WKND (Bizarre Weekend) travels to the heart of the Caribbean to Kingston for the Jamaican Edition of BZR WKND as Jamaica celebrates 61 years of independence. BZR WKND spans two days of parties and live performances from both international and local artists and DJs. BZR WKND is a weekend filled with a series of events/parties and live performances from both international and local artists and DJs. Destined to be one of the largest music festivals [and party weekends] in the Caribbean, BZR WKND sets out to entertain over 47,000 patrons over 48 hours, attracting a diverse, multi-generational audience.

Chris Brown is a Grammy award-winning consummate entertainer who has shifted the climate of R&B culture since his eponymous 2005 debut, selling millions of albums worldwide and accumulating billions of audio streams. A chart-topping force, Brown has achieved 50 top 40 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and 16 top 10 entries.


Brown recently won the award for Favourite Male R&B Artist at the 2022 AMAs, and Best R&B/Soul Male artiste at the Soul Train Awards 2022. Brown’s 10th album Breezy is nominated for Best R&B Album at the Grammy Awards 2023.
