Dancehall star Chronic Law's very first show on U.S. soil at Amazura Club in Queens, New York, was nothing short of a historic night. Promoted by King Addies and QME Records, the event was a massive success, drawing an enormous crowd. "The turnout was so immense that it took two hours and a police escort to get Chronic Law through the throng of fans and into the venue," said one of the promoters.
Once inside, the Law Boss delivered a riveting 45-minute set, with the excited crowd singing every song word for word. The energy was electric, and a special moment came when Kranium joined him on stage for their first live performance of their collaboration, "Higher Life," which was one of the highlights of the night. Dancehall artist Deep Jahi, along with several local acts, also made appearances.
Music was provided by King Champion Sound, Hot 97’s Bobby Konders, Fire Links, and King Addies, making the night an unforgettable one for tried and true dancehall fans.
Chronic Law has been making the most of his time on the East Coast, with his first stop at the King Addies HQ, a visit to Chemist Records Studio, shopping on 5th Avenue at Louis Vuitton, and another top tier performance the following night in Baltimore. The "Badness Upgrade" deejay has additional shows lined up in Miami, Boston, and Hartford, with more dates to be announced soon.
