Chronic Law's Manager Bashy Seeks Justice After Tragic Loss of 4-Year-Old Daughter

Artist manager and producer Alexandre Jones, who is managing dancehall artiste Chronic Law, is mourning the tragic loss of his 4-year-old daughter, Alexndrianna. Jones alleges that her death was caused by negligence on the part of medical staff at Bustamante Children’s Hospital in Kingston.


“Me know me can’t get back me daughter alive but the word needs to be out, the doctor dem down a Children’s dem don’t care, dem neglect yuh kids, dem wicked down deh. When yuh go down deh dem deh pan phone and no pay no attention to yuh kid dem wicked. Dem wicked,” Jones shared in an emotional Instagram post, accompanied by a voice recording expressing his frustration.



After learning of his daughter’s tragic death, Jones pursued an independent autopsy to uncover the truth. He shared that the hospital staff initially refused to release his daughter’s body, but it was later handed over due to an apparent mistake. Jones accused the doctors of trying to conceal the actual cause of death. He explained that the medical team at Bustamante Children’s Hospital initially informed him that his daughter was brain dead.


Bashy further revealed that his daughter was at Bustamante Children’s Hospital undergoing treatment for a tumor. He explained that doctors had informed him the tumor was pressing on her spine, a condition that could have long-term effects on her health. Reflecting on the tragedy, he expressed regret, stating, “If I could go back, I would have had her surgery done overseas.”



He has received an outpouring of support from several artistes, including Aidonia, who tragically lost his son, King Khalif, in 2022. Other notable figures, such as Valiant, Jahshii, Yaksta, and Stefflon Don, have also shown their solidarity with the producer during this difficult times.


Saint-Thomas native, Jones tagged Minister of Health, Dr. Chris Tufton, in his posts, seeking justice for his late daughter and expressing his frustration with Jamaica's healthcare system.
