The City Splash Festival in the UK has announced its second wave of artists for the 2025 lineup, with international dancehall superstar Popcaan confirmed as the headliner.
The festival had previously revealed its first wave of performers, featuring Jamaican dancehall and reggae heavyweights Tarrus Riley, Spice, Valiant, and Teejay. The highly anticipated event is set to take place on May 26, 2025, in South London.
Joining the star-studded lineup are additional acts from City Splash's ‘Rise Up’ initiative, a program launched last year to champion outstanding emerging Caribbean artists. This year’s selection includes Jaz Elise, Nesta, Raebel, Ras-I, and more.
Popcaan, who was recently announced as the headliner for Streetz Festival in Kingston on August 30, will also mark his first full-band concert in Kingston in over a decade.
City Splash is a vibrant one-day festival celebrating the best of Caribbean and African music and culture. The event brings an authentic carnival atmosphere to South London, showcasing genres such as Roots Reggae, Dub, Dancehall, Jungle, Garage, Afrobeats, and Amapiano. With a capacity of up to 30,000 attendees, it remains one of the UK’s premier celebrations of global sounds and cultural unity.
Additionally, BBC Radio 1Xtra is partnering with City Splash again this year and will be on-site recording live sets and interviewing artists throughout the festival.
