Damian Marley with iconic cover, Sean Paul targets the summer

Jr. Gong comes up with a perfect cover of The Beatles George Harrison's 1970 single, Sean Paul delivers a summer single while Moyann and IWaata warm up for their upcoming EPs

Last weekend was dedicated to the renowned Reggae Sumfest, this week received quite a few singles. Jahshii, Iwaata, Moyann and the Big Ship Family all released new singles, while the talented Jquan again proves his lyrical ability.


Moyann – 'Bad Gyal Summer' The bad ‘gyal’ from Mobay is the latest addition to the trendy 'Fresh Drop' riddim. She adds a female touch to the already highly popular juggling, delivering a summer targeted song that will possibly be included on her upcoming EP.



Vybz Kartel – 'Car Man' Vybz Kartel wrapped his 'Car Man' single with another creative comedic music video, shot and directed by Hi Esteem Media Agency. The ‘World Boss' lyrical ability once again plays a vital role in the single which is sequel to his past hit song of the same name some 14 years ago. Vybz Kartel and super producer, ZJ Chrome always seem to collaborate on top-notch projects.



Damian Marley – 'My Sweet Lord' Damian Marley delivers an intriguing single of the iconic song by the immortal Beatles member, George Harrison from the year 1970. Junior Gong has now given the single a fresh sound with stamps of reggae and soulful melodies.



Di Genius Ft. Chino Mcgregor – 'Look A Girl' Riding their successful performance at Reggae Sumfest, the Big Ship brothers, Stephen Di Genius and Chino, released a sexy single targeting the summer and beautiful girls. The beat blends dancehall instruments, accompanied by sexy visuals, that create a classic song. The comedic video features Jamaican-born, Los Angeles-based, social media comedic sensation, Dale Elliot.



Jahshii – 'Dreams Turn Reality' Jahshii transforms dreams into reality; delivers another deep melodic message that depicts his focus on success, despite all the difficulties around and seeks separation from the troubles, on his way to achieving his dreams.



IWaata – 'Fresh Cut' Dancehall artiste, IWaata is gearing up for his upcoming debut EP and has been consistently & rapidly releasing new music. With his typical flow that we are now accustomed to, he adds a different style to the themed single of this project. The ‘play gad’ maintains his creativity on this new track.



Sean Paul – 'Summa Hot' With the title single of Sean Paul's Dutty Rock Productions new riddim, 'Summa Hot', the dancehall superstar delivers a catchy, feel-good anthem infused with his signature dancehall flavor. With its memorable chorus, vibrant melodies, and Sean Paul's undeniable charisma, this track is sure to become a summer staple.



Shane O – 'My Last' Shane O has been considered for years as a prolific songwriter and one of the most underrated artistes in the Jamaican music industry. Occasionally delivering new singles and fresh from a successful reggae Sumfest performance, the established dancehall artiste has released another melodic single that has already placed on the trending chart via YouTube Jamaica.



Dovey Magnum – 'Tory Burch' Dancehall artiste Dovey Magnum is known for her unique and sometimes provocative style. The female singer highlights the luxury Tory Burch brand, while blending with her familiar sex-selling lyrics.



Jquan – 'Still A Fight' Jquan seems to be a special talent. Riding on his recent success with 'Choppa Gospel', the Manchester native artiste tightens his catalog with another melodic single in which he again demonstrates his lyrical prowess. The infectious beat of emerging producer, DJ Mac along with artiste manager/producer, Steel Chest, blends wonderfully with the lyrics.



Skippa – 'Skate' This single is another testament to the rising talent, Skippa who once again showcases his lyrical prowess matched with his trap-influenced flow for another viral single that is already trending on the YouTube chart. Another emerging talent in the dancehall space.



Kaka Highflames – 'Sling' The young dancer turned artiste, Kaka Highflames continues his musical journey. Exploiting his dancing talent while working with his team of dancers, the teenager teamed up with Slingers Records label to create another viral single to follow up his popular ‘Flames Rock’ single.



Other notable songs this week from Rytikal with his single on the new Bridge Riddim, Chi Ching Ching with 'Ova Tek' and also Armanii with his 'Sacrifice' single.
