"Fiesta" singer Armanii suffers heart attack following his Dream Weekend performance, while upcoming UK tour remains uncertain
Armanii, is currently recovering at home
Dancehall artist Armanii is currently recovering after suffering a heart attack while performing at Dream Weekend this past weekend. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital in Westmoreland, where he received immediate medical attention.
"After he left the stage and I went to his tent, I saw everyone in there panicking. I had to lift him up and run through the party," one witness said. "I handed him over to the ambulance."
His management team shared a statement following the incident: "He was unable to perform at scheduled shows this weekend. Our priority is the artist's recovery and well-being."
Armanii is currently resting in Kingston but is scheduled to perform in the UK next week with performances set for Bristol, London, and Manchester. However, these performances are still in doubt as his doctor has advised him to rest for a few weeks.
This year has been a breakthrough for Armanii, with his hit single 'Fiesta (Haad)' amassing 8.2 million views on YouTube to date, while other singles like 'Pounds' are currently on the rise. He recently delivered a solid set at his debut at Sumfest and secured an ad deal with Flow.
