The emerging Disc jockey/producer, DJ Mac is once again reaching out to a young artiste, to help him find his breakout single in the local music industry.

Mac recently produced a single for dancehall artiste, BadLife titled 'See Pree' with the purpose of helping the young artiste to get attention there and stay above the radar.

After Badlife (Whose real name is Terrence Swire) decided to take music seriously, he approached his longtime friend, Mac who was willing to assist the artiste in a purpose to gain momentum in his career. "Mac a me friend fi years, from before him buss and before me seriously take up music", he explained. "It was the right time to link up and do a project. We want to work with each other on the production side with my imprint 'Rebel Records' which was a part of 'Speed Off' by Valiant", the Kingstonian artiste further added.

Inspired by the current popular trap-dancehall style, BadLife came with a different approach to chopping lifestyle by delivering melodies in overdrive. "I just make a song about the lifestyle without chopping", described the artiste.

He described his music style as influenced by hip-hop and dancehall and mentioned Lil Wayne, Masicka, Tommy Lee, Popcaan and Vybz Kartel as his favorite artistes, while he promised, "Me and Mac have more singles on the way".

DJ Mac has recently contributed to the production side of the young talent, King Imxge's viral single, 'Bam Bam Bidam Bam' which became popular among the streets of Jamaica through the impact it gained via the social platform of TikTok.
