Up-and-coming dancehall artiste Jay RXK is set to release his EP “LTL” on Saturday, March 1, via Conni Entertainment Group.
The eight-track project features a collaboration with dancehall artiste Ai Milly titled “Where Would We Go.” This smooth, sing-along track explores toxic relationships and past experiences with former partners.
The headline track, “Punta Cana,” is an upbeat, high-tempo song that the ladies will love. It celebrates women as queens and encourages men to treat their partners to trips abroad. While playful, the song draws inspiration from the love many women have for traveling and exploring new destinations.
“The aim of the EP is to share my talent with a wider audience and establish the Jay RXK brand as a household and respected name in music,” he said. “‘Little Too Late’ for me basically means patience has run its course, and it’s now time to excel and claim what’s mine.”
Other tracks on the EP include “Only Want You,” “Risk It All,” “Naughty Girl,” “Same Gyal,” “Me & You,” and a bonus track, “Die Young.”
“Die Young” was originally released in February last year and peaked at #26 on YouTube Trending. It remains the artiste’s most successful song to date, amassing over 200,000 streams across digital platforms. "It has done well, and the supporters love it, so we decided to include it in the lineup," he explained.
“LTL” is executive produced by Conni Entertainment Group and 1Rxk Records, the label under which Jay RXK is signed. The project also features contributions from notable producers, including Iconix Beatz, Xzaccly, Leirodan Productions, Naseve Music, PQ Records, and HB from New Sounds Production, who handled the mixing. The vocals were recorded by Troublemekka Music.
