Dancehall artist Staggy YBC is set to drop his first single of 2025, "Pot A Gold," an uplifting track, on Friday, the 24th, accompanied by visuals.
Teaming up with Reign Record Ent and his own YBC Entertainment, the Westmoreland rising talent is aiming to continue his upward trajectory this year after achieving viral success in 2024. "Last year, we got the attention, but mi have a lot more fi show dem, so now it's the time," he shared.
Reflecting on his viral success, the rising deejay whose given name is Gavin Williams, gained attention for songs like "1 Campaign" and "Heavyweight," while performing at several local stage shows.
The new track was composed by Fuze, with additional contributions from dancehall producer Yowlevite. YBC, which stands for Young Boy City, aims to make a lasting impact.
