Released on July 5, 2024, under Busta Rhymes' The Conglomerate Ent label, 'WYFT' epitomizes summer vibes, celebrating fashion, style, and swag. With infectious dancehall and hip-hop crossover appeal, Felva's masterful production created an anthem that encapsulates the spirit of looking and feeling good.
The track started when Popeye Caution introduced Felva to Ding Dong about a year ago. During a FaceTime session, Felva played various beats until the iconic Indian vocal sample on 'WYFT' caught Ding Dong's attention. Felva refined the beat, and within 24 hours, Ding Dong returned with an unforgettable hook. “One thing I respect about Felva is that he is a workaholic. Him always working and improving his sound. Him a wicked producer. He will go far in music”, praised Ding Dong.
Initially a duet between Ding Dong and Popeye Caution following their 2019 hit 'Good Ting Dem,' the track evolved when Ding Dong invited Busta Rhymes to join.
