Dancehall star Dexta Daps has been announced for the highly anticipated Afro Nation festival, set to take place in Portimão, Portugal, from July 9-11.

Dexta Daps is currently the only Jamaican artist on the lineup, joining previously announced headliners Burna Boy, Davido, and Tems.

This marks another monumental milestone for the magnetic dancehall star, further solidifying his presence on the global stage.

In previous editions of Afro Nation Portugal, dancehall heavyweights such as Beenie Man and Popcaan have graced the stage, while Skillibeng and Shenseea performed at the Detroit staging of the festival.

Afro Nation is the world's biggest Afrobeats festival, celebrating African music and culture with editions held across various countries. More artists are expected to be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.
