Billboard producer DJ Mac is riding high on the success of his latest juggling project, "Fiesta Riddim" The project kicked off with the release of the theme song "Haad (Fiesta)" by dancehall artist Armanii, which has amassed over 5.7 million views on YouTube to date.
This viral hit marks Armanii's breakthrough single, establishing him as one of the breakout artists of 2024 and undeniably one of the most talked-about artists of the year.
"Fiesta," which quickly became a summer anthem, features tracks from several other artists, including "Old Skool New Skool" by Ding Dong, "Work Out" by Elephant Man, and the viral hit "100 Watt" by emerging dancehall star Kraff, which has been gaining traction in recent weeks.
The catchy beat, co-produced by DJ Mac and Crash Dummy, is set to include new singles from dancehall star Skeng and fellow artist Topmann. Both artists have already filmed music videos for their tracks, which are slated for release soon. More artists are expected to join the project.
The beat, sampling R. Kelly's 2000 classic, continues to build on a trend that started earlier this year.
