DJ Mac, Tielo Lanez and Fada Shella, time for a new era
Popular Jamaican producer DJ Mac has officially signed his first artiste, 19-year-old Tobago-native singer Tielo Lanez, as he steps further into the realm of artist management.
Mac, alongside his team including Fada Shella and Wayne "EP Records" Campbell, welcomed the rising dancehall sensation with the goal of elevating his career.
"We're stepping into the future, and we're glad to sign Tielo, who is a great talent. The time is now for him, he's up next fi sure," said Mac, whose given name is Jason McDowell.
Tielo Lanez made waves in 2024 with breakout singles "Muk Truck" and "Bless." Under Mac’s management, the young prodigy has kicked off 2025 strong with "Free," featured on the trending "Down Riddim," and has just released a music video for his latest single "Selah," produced by Mac and EP Records and composed by Rockit Music.
Initially performing under the name "Khid," Lanez rebranded as Tielo Lanez, citing Tory Lanez as one of his biggest influences.
