Emerging dancehall artist Cegie unveils a sensual new track, "Touch Me," just in time for Valentine’s Day, February 14. Collaborating with Canadian-based artist G Loc, the duo delivers a captivating ballad that begins with a nostalgic old-school feel before seamlessly transitioning into a modern twist.

"Touch Me" is the first recording for Cegie (born Cegie Bennett). Though she spent part of her childhood in Clarendon, Jamaica, Cegie was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada. Growing up in a household filled with music, from gospel and soul to reggae, she started singing in church and writing songs at an early age. Over time, her musical influences expanded to include R&B and dancehall, shaping her unique sound.

The song is produced by Jamaican-Canadian producer Trizo, who runs the renowned KonseQuence Muzik Group, known for working with artists such as Mavado, Teejay, Chronic Law, Beenie Man, Kranium, Gyptian, Maestro Don, Lady Saw, and Starface, to name a few.

"We want to give her a break this year, and Valentine’s is the perfect time to start," said  Trizo, born Tristmar Peart in Mandeville.

With the song set to premiere on Friday across all major platforms, this marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the promising talent.
