Etana Announces 9th Studio Album "Nectar of the Gods"

Two-time Grammy-nominated singer Etana is set to drop her upcoming album, "Nectar of the Gods," featuring collaborations with Bugle, Shatta Wale, and Big Youth on July 26

Two-time Grammy-nominated reggae singer Etana is back with her 9th studio album "Nectar of the Gods," set to be released on July 26, 2024.


This latest album showcases Etana's versatility, signature blend of soulful melodies, and empowering lyrics, further cementing her status as a leading force in contemporary reggae music.


"Nectar of the Gods" boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale on "Set Up Yuhself," Bugle on "Inna Di Ghetto," and legendary Jamaican deejay Big Youth on "Jah Never Fail." The album also features British singer Randy Valentine, award-winning Ghanaian musician Samini, Mr. Cheeks, and Billboard chart-topping producer Jon FX. These artists bring a diverse mix of reggae, dancehall, and Afrobeat influences, adding depth and variety to the album.



Since her debut in 2006, Etana (Given name Shauna McKenzie) has released eight acclaimed studio albums: "The Strong One," "Free Expressions," "Better Tomorrow," "I Rise," "Reggae Forever," "Dimensions," "Gemini," and "Pamoja." Her work has garnered numerous awards and accolades, solidifying her reputation for creating music that resonates with listeners worldwide.


Etana's albums have achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim, with "Reggae Forever" earning a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album in 2018, followed by another nomination for "Pamoja" in 2021.
