Fiwi Soun, the dynamic platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of emerging talent and celebrating the essence of Dancehall culture, is marking its one-year anniversary with a live event slated for May 2 at House of Flamez in Kingston.
Built on discovery and community, FiwiSoun has quickly become a true home for culture, talent, and youthful expression. From watching unknown artists mash up the stage to seeing crowds sing along to songs they’ve never heard before, the platform continues to spotlight raw, authentic energy from Jamaica’s next generation.
“This anniversary edition a celebration of every voice, every beat, and every moment that brought us here. Bigger performances, elevated production, and a vibe that’s straight-up unforgettable. It’s not just another night out, it’s a statement. Expect pure energy,” stated Jevaughn Bell from FiwiS oun.
“We have a few surprises locked in. Think special guest performances, collabs, and a few unexpected moments that will level up the whole experience. Just pull up — you’ll see,” he teased. “Yuh done know we haffi spice it up!.”
With a year of unforgettable moments, live vibes, and a space built for young Jamaican talent, he noted, “Artists have told us it’s one of the few spaces where they feel heard, valued, and free to be themselves. Attendees always say the vibe just feel different — more intimate, more authentic,” the FiwiSoun organizer shared. “Every detail is influenced by di people.”
Discussing the FiwiSoun Live Music Par experience so far, Jevaughn Bell, one of the platform’s founders, shared: “Jamaica’s talent pool is limitless, and the future of music is right here. We want people to leave feeling inspired, connected, and proud of what wi own. This is more than entertainment — it’s a cultural movement."

And as Fiwi Soun celebrates turning one, the team is already looking ahead. "More stages, more cities, more opportunities. We see FiwiSoun growing into a regional platform for live Caribbean music — pop-ups, campus tours, digital series, maybe even a festival one day. The vision large — and the talent deserves it."
