Freddie McGregor, celebrates his birthday by releasing new album
Veteran reggae singer Freddie McGregor celebrated his 67th birthday with the release of his new album 'A Breath Of Fresh Air', seemingly referring to his recovery from a scary stroke he experienced last year at his home in Florida. "I happily present to you my album entitled 'A Breath Of Fresh Air' produced by Stingray Records, a UK-based record label, and Big Ship Music Inc.", shared the Captain on his Instagram page.
The 14-track album features an Afrobeats single titled 'Walla Walla Weng' Gambian female singer, Ellisha Kan and Black Prophet from Ghana. This is the only song on the album with feature artists. The "A Breath Of Fresh Air" album is also kicked off with the "Walla Walla Weng Dance Challenge on Instagram.
The album is available online at all streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer, and Tidal.
The veteran singer, who suffered a stroke last year, celebrated his birthday in his homeplace in Florida and also shared a video alongside reggae artiste Hopeton Lindo.
The 'Big Ship' singer, who has been in the music business for six decades, is about to perform at the renowned event of Reggae Sumfest which is placed at Montego Bay Jamaica on July 22.
