Grammy Certificate Ceremony Celebrates and Honour Reggae’s Greatest Contributors

The Grammy Honour Awards will celebrate reggae and dancehall contributors, including Aidonia, Govana, and other iconic figures, who have yet to receive their Grammy certificates

Back 2 Da Future Music Ltd. is hosting the inaugural Grammy Certificate Ceremony, a special event dedicated to celebrating and recognizing contributors to reggae and dancehall music who have yet to receive their Grammy certificates. The event will take place tonight, August 13, at the Audi Showroom, ATL Automotive Jamaica, in New Kingston.


This prestigious gathering will bring together over 200 esteemed members of the reggae and dancehall community, including managers, producers, writers, artists, and musicians, to honor their significant contributions to the genre.


The awardees for the night include dancehall star Aidonia, celebrated for his role as a performer on the Grammy-winning album 44/876. Fellow artists Govana, Chi Ching Ching, and Ras Ajai will also be recognized for their contributions to Sean Paul’s Grammy-nominated album Live & Living.


Legendary producers such as King Jammy, John John, Donovan Germain of Penthouse Records, Clive Hunt, and Adrian Locke of LockCity Music Group will also be among the honorees, alongside musical icons like Dean Fraser. Additionally, artists such as Delly Ranx, Flourgon, Macka Diamond, and Chevelle Franklyn are set to be recognized for their significant contributions to the reggae and dancehall music industry.
