Hansle Parchment, Alana Reid, and Danielle Williams Confirmed for the Kingston Slam

Grand Slam Track announces six Jamaican stars as first group of challengers signed for Kingston Slam, including former Olympic champion and World U20 champion

Grand Slam Track, the new global home for professional track competition founded by Michael Johnson, is gearing up for its debut event, the Kingston Slam, scheduled for April 4-6 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The first group of Challengers was announced today, featuring six Jamaican athletes.


Tokyo Olympic champion, Hansle Parchment, will compete in the men's 110m hurdles alongside Orlando Bennett. Former world champion Danielle Williams will challenge in the women's 100m hurdles as well as World U20 champion Alana Reid is set to compete in the 100m and 4x100m relay. the list goes on with Olympic finalist Shiann Salmon, who will take on the 400m hurdles and Jamaican national champion Malik James-King will also compete in the 400m hurdles.


Jamaican athletes Oblique Seville, Ackera Nugent, Roshawn Clarke, Rushell Clayton, and Nickisha Pryce have already signed with Grand Slam Track. They join a star-studded lineup that includes 400m hurdles world record holder Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, 200m Olympic champion Gabby Thomas, Melissa Jefferson, Masai Russell, Alexis Holmes, Quincy Hall, Fred Kerley, Kenny Bednarek, and many others.



All four Grand Slam Track events will be streamed live in the U.S. on Peacock, including exclusive coverage of Slam Fridays, with The CW Network providing broadcast coverage of Slam Saturdays and Sundays.
