Hezron & Beenie Man Revitalize The Temptations "Ain’t Too Proud to Beg"

Reggae Artist Hezron collaborates with the doctor for a modern rendition with dancehall flair

Beenie Man, adds his signature groovy vibes

Reggae artist Hezron has teamed up with the King of Dancehall, Beenie Man, to deliver a vibrant rendition of The Temptations' 1966 classic, "Ain’t Too Proud to Beg." This new dancehall version, produced by Pot of Gold Production for Tad’s International Record, was released on Friday, June 7.

Hezron stays true to David Ruffin’s heartfelt plea for his lover’s forgiveness, while the Doctor adds his signature groovy vibes. Hezron’s smoky vocals are perfectly complemented by Beenie Man's confident style, blending seamlessly with the melody of Teddy Pendergrass’ 1978 hit, "When Somebody Loves You Back."

The fusion of soul, Rhythm and Blues, and dancehall in this track makes "Ain’t Too Proud to Beg" a sure hit across various markets.

Hezron, a prominent figure in the Tad’s International Record camp, has released several well-received tracks under the label, including "Natural Woman," "Save The Children," and "I Shall be Released" (with Big Youth).
