Dancehall songs reflecting society's obsession with wealth and the status it grants have long been a staple of the music industry. Dancehall artist Silk Boss has added his voice to this theme with the release of his new single, "Movie," produced by Dynasty Global, New York-based producer Shawn Dan Production, and NSG Production.

Since its release on Monday, July 15, "Movie" has already achieved over 126K views on YouTube and has placed the 27th spot on YouTube trending in Jamaica. Fans eagerly awaited this release, especially after a teaser clip featuring popular TikTok influencer Jayden went viral. Known for creating the trending slang “House can skate pan toll?”, Jayden's involvement has significantly boosted the single's popularity.

Jayden's viral video provides the voiceover for the song's intro, and he is humorously featured in the music video, directed by Kreative Klique, advising Silk Boss not to buy a house because "house cya skate?" and convincing him to buy a car instead.

Balancing humor and creativity, "Movie" showcases Silk Boss's talent and puts him back on the map in the dancehall scene. With over 177K followers on TikTok and over 2.5 million likes, the use of Jayden as the driving force behind the single is brilliant.
