After a successful 2023 marked by impactful collaborations with the emerging Reggae Dancehall artist Imeru Tafari, a refreshed musical creation has just been unveiled, resonating across generations and embodying the essence of Rastafari culture.
Crafted through the collaborative efforts of Koastal Kings and DubShot Records, the latest release, titled "I Love Rastafari," showcases a seamless partnership with none other than his mother, Queen Ifrica. This collaboration adds an extra layer of authenticity to the heartfelt composition.
"I Love Rastafari" effortlessly blends Imeru's rhythmic expertise with Queen Ifrica's dynamic vocals, resulting in a potent homage to Rastafari. The track harmoniously combines contemporary beats with timeless roots, creating a musical tapestry that captures the genre's spirit and showcases the undeniable talent inherent in this dynamic mother-son duo.
Building on the success of his previous singles like "Black Heart Man" and "Vibrations (feat. Popcaan & Chronic Law)," as well as "Skyway" from Ras-I featuring Jesse Royal, the duo of Koastal Kings and DubShot Records is poised to make a significant impact in 2024. Several of these tracks will prominently feature on the "Future Sound of Reggae Volume 3" compilation album.
