Intence keeps creating catchy tracks
Dancehall artiste Intence has solidified his reputation as one of the genre's biggest game-changers with few viral single over the years most recently the dance floor catchy hit "SHH,” which produced by Countree Hype.
The Kingstonian deejay has now released "Like U," the third single from his upcoming debut album, 'VOYAGE', set to drop later this year. This single, part of Nuh Brakes Records' “Orgasm” riddim, premiered on May 20 with a vibrant, technicolor video directed by top video director Shane Creative.
"Like U" draws comparisons to 90's dancehall hits such as Mr. Vegas' "Girls Time," Lexx's "Full Hundred," and Beenie Man and Bling Dawg's "Circumstances."
Intence, whose given name is Tashawn Gabbidon, continues to build momentum ahead of his album release. This latest track adds to his previous singles “Lesson” and “Year of Gear,” all leading up to his debut studio album, “VOYAGE”, set to be released later this year via VP Records. VOYAGE follows his 2021 releases, the "Public Enemy No. 1" Mixtape and the "Wounded" EP.
