This highly anticipated event promises a week of networking and collaboration as global music industry leaders come together to advance Jamaican, Caribbean, and world music. Artistes including Kemar Highcon, StoneBwoy, Kevon, Jesse Royal and Yohan Marley performed with Shaggy and WyClef at IMC 2024.

“I’m an independent artiste, and I’ve never been to an event like this during my journey before I was an artiste or during my independent journey. So I love things like this where unity is in the community and that there are people here to educate and uplift with awareness, knowledge and discussions where we can ask questions and a lot of things are on our radar in one place where we can pull from and decide what pieces to choose.” sharing Grammy-award winning artiste, Mya, who was a panelist at the 2024 Island Music Conference.

Previous editions have featured global music leaders, artists, DJs, and radio personalities, including the likes of Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Masicka, Stonebwoy, Seani B, Naro Hart, Becca Dudley, Jaii Frais, and many others.

Over thirty global media outlets covered the 2024 Island Music Conference (IMC) in Kingston, Jamaica’s creative capital, during Reggae Month.

Endorsed and supported by the Ministries of Culture and Tourism, the Jamaica Tourist Board, the CHASE Fund, the Grammys, and YouTube, among others, the 2025 edition of IMC promises to be even more dynamic. This year’s staging will feature speakers from the Soca, Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Afro Beats fraternities, among other genres. Additionally, experts will delve into successful formats and techniques, offering valuable insights for attendees.
