The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in Kingston was the venue for the official launch of Dancehall Week 2025 on Tuesday night, setting the stage for an expanded celebration of the genre’s cultural impact.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, Dancehall Week 2025 promises an even more dynamic lineup of activities aimed at honoring and elevating dancehall culture.

This year’s edition goes beyond high-energy parties and performances, introducing the immersive Dancehall Village experience at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. The space will feature a dedicated dancehall museum, showcasing the genre's evolution over the decades, as well as a series of seminars and workshops designed to highlight dancehall’s global influence and provide valuable insights into the music and entertainment industries.
