Dancehall Week 2025 is set to close with a bang as rising star Jamal, also known as DunceMan, has been added to the Magnum Carousing after-party on Sunday, March 2, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre.
As the official closing event of the week-long celebration of Dancehall Culture in Kingston, Jamaica, Magnum Carousing promises electrifying performances from Jah Vinci, Pamputtae, Jada Kingdom, and Tommy Lee Sparta.
“We knew we wanted to end Dancehall Week with a bang and Magnum Carousing is that ultimate climax event. After the Double Seven Street Parade in Kingston we head right into the wildest after party with the hottest acts in dancehall today, and we are excited to see them rock the stage. All these artistes have etched their own niche and developed their own fan base in entertainment so together they represent the blend that is truly Dancehall, ” Dave Goldson CEO of Dancehall Week shared.
Jamal has been making waves in the dancehall scene in recent months, with trending singles like "Ballandor" and "Time" gaining traction on local and international streaming platforms.
Dancehall Week 2025 runs from February 23 to March 2 at Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, featuring a Dancehall Village and a Dancehall Museum, which opens for two days starting February 26 at the Business of Entertainment Expo to showcase dancehall’s evolution.
Signature events like Tuesday Service and Original Dancehall Thursdays will be hosted in the Village, while the celebration wraps up with Dancehall Fashion Frenzy on Friday night, the Double Seven Dancehall Street Parade on Sunday evening, and the Magnum Carousing after-party.
Endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport, JCDC, and KSAC, Dancehall Week 2025 is officially part of Reggae Month 2025.
