Reggae veteran Junior Marvin and the legendary Wailers are set to kick off their "Happy Family" North American Tour on Friday, June 14th, 2024, in North Carolina. The show is already sold out.

The opening show will feature reggae royalty with Third World, Inner Circle, and Skatalites co-headlining. The tour also showcases young talents Quan-dajai, Matthew Malcolm (M2), and Davo, fresh from their roles in the Bob Marley Paramount biopic feature film "One Love," which has already grossed over $300 million USD. The tour will be rounded out by appearances from Yashemabeth McGreggor, Kenyatta Hill, Ricci954, Rory Kerr, and others on select dates.

Marvin's three sons will join him on the tour, providing the ultimate exposure for young reggae artists. Additionally, Marvin will document the tour, capturing preparations and life on the road, with a videographer traveling alongside him. “Reggae is here to stay”, says the veteran artiste & guitarist.

Junior Marvin is widely recognized as an all-time great reggae guitarist and served as the Musical Director of the iconic Bob Marley and the Wailers band. Marvin says this tour helps fulfill his promise to Bob to keep the Wailers going. His guitar artistry, which had a huge influence on Marley, can be heard on seminal tracks such as "Could You Be Loved" (which Junior originally wrote and gave to Marley), "Waiting in Vain," "Buffalo Soldier," "The Heathen," "One Love," and "Jamming."

Marvin's latest project, "HAPPY FAMILY," a newly released 9-track album, features a new interpretation of the single "One Love" and is distributed by Flat Iron Records.
