Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz star Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw has become Manchester City Women’s all-time leading scorer in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Shaw scoring twice in a 2-1 victory over Swedish side Hammarby, securing City’s place in the quarter-finals of Group D with two games to spare. Her goals came in the 31st and 52nd minutes, bringing her tally to three for the season and sealing the Citizens' win in Sweden.
This milestone further solidifies Shaw’s remarkable record, as she previously claimed the title of City’s overall top scorer across all competitions.
After missing the Reggae Girlz’ 0-4 loss to France in a recent friendly due to injury, Shaw is set to rejoin the squad for upcoming matches against South Africa on November 29 and December 2 in Montego Bay.
