Kishane Thompson Shines at Gyulai Memorial with 9.91s in 100m, Defending World 200m champion Shericka Jackson Pulls Up Injured

The Olympic Games in Paris 2024 are just 15 days away, and rising sprinting star Kishane Thompson continues to impress. Thompson clocked an impressive 9.91 seconds in the 100m race at the István Gyulai Memorial in Hungary, winning his first international meet of the year.
Thompson finished ahead of Letsile Tebogo from Botswana, who clocked a time of 9.99 seconds, and South African Akani Simbine, who posted a time of 10.01 seconds.
Defending World 200m champion Shericka Jackson pulled up in pain during the 200m race and had to limp off the track. St. Lucia's Julien Alfred equaled her season's best in the 200m, winning the Gyulai István Memorial title with a time of 22.16 seconds.
Rising sprinter Tia Clayton, who recently finished second in the Jamaican trials, secured another second place in the women's 100m race with a time of 11.06 seconds. She was beaten by American Tamari Davis, who clocked 11.00 seconds.
