Koffee, Calls herself the ‘Baddest’ and gives nod to Masicka
Grammy-winning artist Koffee drops self-titled track "Koffee" on Wednesday, April 29, declaring herself the baddest in Jamaica.
The single, produced by acclaimed music executive Carleene Samuels alongside Marquis Abrahams, is accompanied by a striking music video directed by Shane Creative. Koffee delivers razor-sharp lyricism as only she can: “I almost dropped mi liquor, 'cause right now nobody sicka, except the one Masicka,” she raps, giving a playful nod to the dancehall star.
Signaling a bold new chapter, she continues: “Not the way you remember me, I left that in the cemetery — that side of me is dead.”
The 25-year-old Rapture singer had teased her comeback in recent weeks, with this being her first official single since 2023.
