Chart-topping and dynamic dancehall performers Kranium and Dexta Daps are the latest additions to the inaugural WAV (World A Vibes) Music Festival, bringing a fresh surge of musical energy to New York City in 2025.
“New York epitomises vibrancy, cultural diversity, and an unmatched pulse of energy – the city that stays alive round the clock. Known for its entertainment hub and cultural diversity, New York is the perfect stage to launch this groundbreaking festival and introduce this innovative musical concept,” the organisers said in a press release.
The WAV Music Fest is set to make its debut in the Big Apple on March 28, 2025, at the renowned UBS Arena. The lineup includes the Queen of Dancehall, Spice, alongside new-generation stars Valiant, Skeng, and Kraff, with additional artists to be announced in early December.
Marking the first major Caribbean-focused festival at the UBS Arena, the WAV Music Fest is already creating significant buzz within New York City's Caribbean community. The venue recently hosted Buju Banton’s sold-out Overcomer tour, drawing a crowd of 19,000. Shenseea, the most recent Jamaican act to perform at the UBS Arena, graced the stage as part of Jhené Aiko's The Magic tour.
