Dancehall heavyweights Kranium and Masicka set to drop a chart-topping hit on January 22, marking their third collab


Masicka and Kranium ready to deliver another dancehall anthem


Dancehall star Kranium is set to kick off 2025 with a major release, teaming up with one of the genre's hottest front-runners, Masicka, for a track titled 'Cut The Link', slated for January 22 via Out Deh Records.


Produced by the renowned TJ Records, the single brings together Kranium, known as the 'Melody Gad,' with Masicka's undeniable lyrical prowess. The collaboration is poised to deliver a hit, merging melodic hooks with sharp, impactful lyrics in a way only this duo can.



Cut The Link marks the third time Kranium and Masicka have joined forces, following the success of their previous tracks, 'Beach House' and 'Fire in the Rain'. Fans are eager to see the chemistry that has delivered hits in the past light up the charts once again.


Masicka is currently riding high on the global success of his hit single 'Whites', which has become one of dancehall’s biggest tracks. The song has gained international traction, featuring in Arsenal F.C.’s training sessions, played by Premier League footballers, and by Reggae Girlz star Khadija "Bunny" Shaw and the Manchester City Women’s team.



For Kranium, the upcoming collaboration builds on the momentum of his standout 2024 hit 'Higher Life' featuring Chronic Law. The track not only garnered over 9 million views but also sparked a wave of remixes due to its widespread popularity, solidifying its place as one of the year’s top collaborations.


The singer is also slated to perform to audiences worldwide, with shows planned for London, Canada, and his hometown of New York at the Wav Music Festival in the near future.
