Young dancehall sensation Laa Lee continues to ride the waves of success after being unveiled as the latest brand ambassador for Magnum Tonic Wine. The unveiling took place at All-Star Sound Clash on Friday 22nd of April, 2023, a weekly event that is powered by Magnum.
Kamal Powell, Regional Marketing Manager for Magnum, excitedly welcomed LaaLee on behalf of the brand and spoke about how excited he was about the partnership with LaaLee, because of his fun & energetic persona, and looks forward to a long and healthy relationship between the brand and the artist. Project Manager at parent company, Campari Group Daniela McLean added that they were "thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait to see all the amazing things we’ll accomplish together. Stay tuned for some exciting collaboration and content coming soon".
The "Leggo Di Bird" deejay, whose full name is Romario Ricketts, is very excited about the partnership with Magnum and says this collaboration with Magnum only makes sense as it’s one of his personal favorite to drink and now he is in a position to inspire others to drink and enjoy the product like himself but do so responsibly.

His Management team is also very happy and excited about the partnership. Manager Comar 'Frankie Music' Campbell said he also cannot wait to start the campaign with Magnum not only locally but also internationally as the brand is a big part of the reggae and dancehall culture. Laa Lee joins the likes of Spice and Ding Dong who are also ambassadors for the brand.
The Kingston native deejay was making the airwaves with his single "Short and Toll Ee" in 2018 then recorded great success with many other singles such as "Tip Inna It", "Dirt Bounce", "Bird", "Floating", "Bing Bong" and more which recorded millions of views and listeners on the various social platforms.
