Emerging producer Legin Muzik shares insight behind “Born Great” with 1Chance, promises more music soon

Music producer Legin Muzik of One Kapital Records has joined forces with rising dancehall artist 1Chance for a brand new single titled Born Great, released on Friday, March 28 via ONErpm.
“The inspiration came naturally from the riddim. it sparked an emotion that shaped the song’s powerful message”, Legin Muzik shared.
A rising name in the music production landscape, Legin praised the creative team behind the release. “I produced the track, and it was mixed by Silent—a talented producer I frequently collaborate with. The artwork was done by AllCaps, a young, talented creative who brought the visual concept to life. Working with both of them added an extra layer of quality and professionalism to the project.”
He also opened up about the creative process behind Born Great. “Sometimes I start with drums, a chord progression, or a melody, but on this particular track, I started with a piano progression and added the drums after,” he explained. “I actually created the beat some time ago, and while going through a folder of beats, 1Chance immediately connected with this one. From there, the track came to life.”
As for the message behind the music, Legin emphasized the importance of perseverance. “The core message is resilience—giving up is never an option. It’s about what you do after failure that defines your journey.”
Discussing what’s next, the producer teased more to come. “More singles—I also have a juggling project called Anomaly Riddim on the way. There’s a lot in the pipeline, so stay tuned for more releases. I’m always ready to connect with other creatives.”
