Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey has been called up to the Jamaica squad for their Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals against the U.S. on November 14 and 18, marking his return from injury.

"He was unlucky in the first 2 camps due to injuries. Finally, we’re going to see Leon Bailey," Head Coach McClaren said in a press conference.

Spartak Moscow striker Shamar Nicholson has also been named in the squad for the U.S. encounter. "A’mari Bell comes straight in, also Nicholson is back from injury. he’s hired a personal trainer and stayed back at his club for a while to regain fitness," added McClaren.

Newcastle United defensive midfielder Isaac Hayden has been included in the Reggae Boyz squad after the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has been chasing him for some time. Hayden, who qualifies to represent Jamaica through his father, has previously represented England at various youth levels but has not secured a senior team call-up.

Meanwhile, striker Norman Campbell is sidelined due to injury. Leicester City winger Bobby Reid will also miss the matches as he is awaiting the birth of his child, and Michail Antonio is suspended due to yellow card accumulation, making him unavailable for the first game.

McClaren acknowledged the U.S. as tough competition, adding, "I know Coach Pochettino well and have great respect for the team, he had great success during his time at Tottenham."

"Our goals remain focused on World Cup qualification and the Gold Cup," McClaren elaborated. "We need to spread our net wider to discover new talent in Jamaica also in other leagues that have ties to the company."
