Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey will miss Jamaica's upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches against Nicaragua on October 10 and Honduras on October 14 as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury.

Bailey, who felt discomfort in his hamstring during Aston Villa's UEFA Champions League clash with Bayern Munich and was substituted after 27 minutes in their 1-0 win, expressed his disappointment at not being selected for the squad but remains committed to returning in the future.

Head coach Steve McClaren confirmed in a press conference that Bailey’s recovery is ongoing, but he isn’t fit enough to rejoin the team for these matches. In Bailey's absence, winger Renaldo Cephas has been recalled to the squad.

Except for Cephas, Head coach Steve McClaren has called up 19-year-old Kaheim Dixon from Charlton Athletic to the squad in Bailey's absence. The forward lineup will include Demarai Gray, Michail Antonio, Norman Campbell, and Romario Williams.
