Lila Iké, drops her third single from the upcoming album
Lila Iké, one of Jamaica’s leading female reggae artists, takes another step toward her highly anticipated debut album, set for release later this year.
On Friday, February 28, she unveils her latest single, 'Too Late to Lie', a heartfelt roots reggae ballad exploring the pain of broken trust. Produced by Winta James, the track is released via Ineffable Records in collaboration with Protoje’s In.Digg.Nation Collective and her own Wurl Iké Records. It arrives alongside an epic music video that adds a striking visual narrative to the song's emotional depth.
Following her recent collaboration with Joey Bada$$ on 'Fry Plantain', Lila also features on British singer Mahalia’s track 'Pressure Points'.
Her growing international presence includes a MOBO Award nomination for Best Reggae Act, along with standout performances on NPR Tiny Desk and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert alongside Protoje. She has also garnered praise from BBC, Rolling Stone, SPIN, Vogue, and The New York Times.
